I am perfectly happy to withhold meaningful contribution if I can derive entertainment from making fun of people's spelling, or possibly antagonise people who ignore proper spelling and grammar to the extent that they stop posting and thus improve my reading experience. Are you trying to turn this into a personal thing of some sort?

Nah, it's nothing personal. I'm simply stating something that I personally believe should be rather obvious to everyone. It's entirely your prerogative to get your jollies as you please, though there is a certain amount of irony to your motives that I find amusing as well.
