Strangely, when Dante hosted TwinBlades, we had 25 players on.

I'm pretty sure that makes you wrong. After big events, we always have a nice playercount for the next few days.

Apperently, you didn't read the main part of my post. "We've been down this path before"

Incase you STILL don't get it, Its been done. Its been tried. Its been denied.

Events that MAY draw people=/Playercount. Jesse had the server going on with events for a long time to keep the playercount up, it failed.

When did Dante host those twinblades?

It should be in the Zone information forum- the Twinblade hosting thread;

and there IS development being done for Zone, so even if i did host big events, just for a temporary player count- it's better then no player-count at all. It keeps the players who play, playing, which there are still some loyal ones, and they know who they are.

- The Easter hosting didn't have a bad turnout, we had about 15 players on enjoying the event's. More or less a good time, if you ask me.

Loyal players will keep track of the servers progress, events or not. We've been down the events path before, it'll get you players for a few minutes then they'll log off. I wouldn't call that a playercount at all.
