IPs are not a reliable form of identification. Mine changes many times a day and doesn't always follow a predictable pattern. It's very frustrating to be unable to do anything because your PCID has changed (several ways this can happen).
Securing your email is your problem, not Graal's. Email has always been a password equivalent online. Gmail and other providers offer multi-factor authentification. Why not use it? (I do.)
