Also, there's a bug where if a player kills you while you are typing, all of your typed text is deleted.

Oh, and also could you add text commands for putting on your guildtag and stuff? I don't like having to go through like 4 menus to put it on.

Like if you said guildtag then the name of your guild, it would put on your guildtag, like how if you already say "kills" it shows you your kills.

I've just discovered that the app works on Chrome again once I've deleted all of my previous browsing data/temporary files for the time it was first loaded within.
It's working again on the 2nd attempted load so I'm not sure if that issue was a one-time thing or not.

I'd also like to say that it's interesting how many former players of the real Classic have came to me over the last few days, who didn't really know what to expect of it as they hadn't glimpsed the iPhone server but been curious due to its success, and have expressed their disappointment at how dis-similar to Classic it is.

I personally don't see the issue so much as one of similarity, more a matter of quality.
Ofcourse we've seen that Quest preview video, and it was my understanding that a new/remade intro was going to be implemented, unless this is a form of open-beta test (which I haven't noticed any evidence to suggest) it may have been beneficial to implement these alongside the Facebook server for the sake of an improved first impression.

Stefan has clearly put in an exceptional amount of effort on top of working on several simultaneous other projects to get this whole thing operational, and that can only be admired, but I do wish attempts would be made to "improve" Graal before attempts are made to "expand" it.

If you go to classiciframe.graalonline.com it says something about joining the 'Open Beta'.

Although, that might just be an easy excuse to put our low quality content.

Yeah that's the first time I've noticed the term "open beta", bit strange as I haven't seen this link to the app officially publicised anywhere.
Also if this truly is an open beta it may have been better to test the base game first before allowing people to purchase VIP, which again the issues experienced may have been detrimental to first impression.

I just happened to stumble upon it, because I was looking for the origin of the flag object. :P
I wanted to see if it was hosted on one of Graal's websites.
And it led me there; so, no, it hasn't been publicized.

One other error I've noticed is that when on the FB server it often shows that my "Friends" are offline, when in reality they are online.

When I log in on my VIP account it only asks for my email, can anyone access a VIP account just by knowing the email? I think there should be a password system or something along those lines. Or does it save to your FB account?

It's using the device/Facebook id as identification. We will eventually also add a way to disallow devices/Facebook ids later, can also be good for PC Graal.

there really needs to be a volume bar for music/sound like the one on PC.. it's annoying when you hear sword slashing at a high volume while listening to a song at high volume

Flash 11 is supporting faster drawing and will make the game much faster. The current Facebook Classic should be fast enough for normal play, but can't display particles and seteffect because it would be too slow.

Make an option so player can choose their own? Or would that be always and not depending on PC?

But I think it should be able to set different languages for the keyboard... Like on the german keyboard the keys are way different placed so you always have to find out like where the @ is for english keyboard.
And yea fullscreen would be nice.

Graal facebook is taking 50% of my cpu on a 2ghz dual core processor.

I've noticed the same problem on my Intel i3 M370 but it is only taking up around 35 - 40% of one of my cores on Google Chrome but 40 - 45% on Firefox.

Edit: Just checked and the native Graal client is only taking up around 20% meaning the flash version is much more CPU intensive than the native client but you'd expect it to be at least a little more intensive on Flash.

The impact Facebook Graal has made doesn't seem to be nearly as big as iOS Graal did in fact it seems like Facebook Graalians are actually having a negative effect (even more so when the hacks start being used ) on the existing iOS population.

Perhaps it would be better to keep the two communities game-play separate from each other, and then allow the native clients to connect to the Facebook world.

People will start spamming that FB graal should get released back and so on. I really like it for the iOS cause on FB it´s nicer and not that much spam everywhere with people rating pictures or whatever. It´s good to enjoy on there

A lot of UN's players seem to have migrated to the Facebook server as it's essentially the same casual type server not built to a specific design/niche, just with the higher playercount to interact with.
It could well provide an advantage for the real Classic to re-emerge.

Flash is perfectly capable of accessing the clipboard, so I don't see why this is a problem.

It seems like they disabled it purposefully, but I can't think of a single reason as to why...they allow copy/paste on iPhone Graal.

The 4 buttons on the right side are not really needed on Facebook but also help players to know which keys to use.
The hiding is fixed, you can disable hiding of players by server option nohidewithoutbush=true. There is a bug which is saving the hidden state to the player account and restoring it when you come back, but the player doesn't have a bush then and can continue to play hidden. The gserver will be updated soon to fix that.
