Client Global Gulid Control

It would be really cool if there was a global guild control, JUST like or better than the guild cp on the graal website, for the graal client. That way you wouldnt have to get to the website all the time for little things, or major things.
Lots, and almost all, of game that have guilds already have this feature.

It could be possible to use the new scripted local guild system which cbk1994 & co have worked on, and expand it to work for global guilds. One main problem could be the guild forum/message system, depends on if that is actually used.

Which variables do you use for global guilds? Like editting and deleting members from a global guild? Approving applications as well. Didnt even know that was possible.

What he means is adapting the Zone squad system (which contains most of the features of the global guilds) to use sendtext to communicate with a global database, and adding it to the login server so it is added to everyone.

I think it's safe to say it's not used on the site (most would prefer a standalone web forum), but if there was a client version I could see a lot more people using it.

if the guild forum/message system was upgraded somehow then it would make sense for it to be on the website. otherwise it seems simpler to have it on the client itself; no logging in, and it's safer for guilds

It would be cool if you organized the global guilds in a way that could be managed/communicated with the client, yes. This includes the guild forums and such as well.

That goes waaaay over my head. Don't even know what that means, or how anyone at all could remove/add/edit members in client instead of on the website in guildcp.

It's about interacting with a webserver(/using sendtext())

The login server does this to recieve news (From the graal bible) to display at the 'front page' when you first login.

But how do we know which variables those are? I would love to get access and attempt at this in my own way, but kind of hard when I dont know what any of the variables, address, functions, or info is stored at.

There aren't any right now. You would have to contact Stefan, and he would have to add the proper sendtext features, which would be very hard to get him to do, I think.

Well then, go back to saying, we should see this in a future version, with accessible vars to utilize these features.

Right now the guild control panel is basicly a GUI interface which contacts a Graal server to access and modify guilds. That GUI could be implemented in Graal script (only authorized GUI scripts from the login server to prevent abuse).
