Gelat - Internal Currency

You could standardize the use of the Gelat by allowing player-to-player trading of gelat sums.

An example would be Elizabeth offering to trade me 1,000 gelat for whatever sum I may wish, whether that be nothing or everyhing I own.

This would also present a means for some servers to pay their staff in sums which are allowanced to the servers by PWAs.

Also, it would be nice to give some amount of your gelats as a gift to your friend on his birthday or whatever through the trade-system.

I'm not understanding something here. She gives you 1,000 gelats, and you give her something other than 1,000 gelats? It seems to me like trading a dollar for a nickle.

It's just an example. The idea is to allow gelats to be a tradable item

That's the wierd thing about gelats. They aren't tradable.
I hope that they some day makes it tradable.

No, don't be stupid, there is no way to prevent USDing. In fact, it's only forbidden on servers that have it in their local rules - CJ just state that they don't support USDing.


Besides, I find it silly not being able to trade away gelats that I already payed for myself. It'd just mean a shorter subscription time for myself, but since the gelats are payed for, big deal.

But that's the purpose - people buy gelats to convert to other uses (gold, games, cards, etc). This standardizes the use internally and, in standardizing it, may very well increase the consumption of gelats.

I completely agree with this. It would be a great feature. All though, it could be abused.
