Just do this:
play("http://scfire-nyk-aa03.stream.aol.com:80/stream/1007");
That is the House channel for
www.di.fm
See how horrible in quality it sounds? You can also just put that in F3 audio options and hit play. Streams like these used to always sound just as good as if played using a media player.
EDIT: It seems to be not lagging now. Maybe the last version (5.102) fixed it or so? Don't know. But still would be nice to get AAC+ file support! (MP4s)
EDIT 2: I left my client open for about 2 minutes after starting the stream and my network adapter's download rate seemed to go down to 15 kb/s (even though it's a 96 kb/s stream) and the sound quality got very choppy and horrible.
About the AAC+ stream:
Here is the AAC+ version of the above stream if you feel like trying to add AAC support (Found in most MP4s and such):
http://160.79.128.61:7014
Or you can just go to
www.di.fm and use any of the other AAC+ streams (they are in pls format so you probably have to open with iTunes or something first).
