I understand that. Not sure the player base would enjoy gang races though. Maybe they would. I guess you wouldn't know until you tried it, just my opinion.

Maybe introduce wacky races and you run through checkpoints and gain bombs and shiz that you blow up the guys behind or infront.. (we jokes)

That's pretty much what I had in mind.

It wouldn't be a foot-race solely. There would be sections that you have to wait for a door to open, so PKing goes on in those pockets.

I dunno man. Just weird random ideas I've thought of for objective-based PKing.

I liked the whole gangs fighting to control portions of the map idea, but that would also only spike activity for a couple weeks at best. We have to just face the truth, after the new and shiny effect wears off everyone loses interest again. And we will always run into gang stacking problems that deter people from raiding. New players still have no chance of ever being in a good gang etc.

Everyone just needs to give in and embrace the draft system. It will allow every active player in the game the ability to be in a good gang and feel like they have a chance no matter what. It's especially good for the new players who are never going to learn being in EP, where there is no leadership, and no chance of ever competing. We can't keep expecting things to be like they were with just the dying breed of oldbies. We need the next generation to learn and flourish.
