A good scripter would type all his code into notepad. While blindfolded and engaged in intellectual discussion with his peers. And then copy it to the server on the release day.

Yeah. You really can't finish a server offline. Not the scripting part anyway. Although if there was an offline gs2 editor, it would be a lot easier to learn, so you could get a server and do something with it (instead of wasting the first few weeks learning).

Oh, come on. The unicode encoding scheme used by web browsers and applications all over the world was designed by two guys, during dinner, on a piece of paper, and they had it implemented in their operating system on the next monday.
