You'd think it'd be logical, though I suspect the lack of cross-promotion is a silent way of acknowledging the general quality issues (from a playability standpoint) on the PC-based Graal worlds.

I was too lazy to view all the posts, but I'm just going to throw my two cents in and that
iTunes + app + Graal = more advertising.

Player count would be due to people finding out wtf Graal is due to the iPod Classic app.

i think.

Though I don't really see much of a playercount increase I do believe that Graal iPhone is a good start to promoting GraalOnline for the PC. Because the PC version is so much better! :]

Cool, I don't think those 94players would want to pay MORE money for a game they can pay 1$ for on the iPhone.
Also, I don't get why iPhone has more players than Graal has ever had, wtf.

iPhone has a free version with almost no restrictions (except to appearance). And a $2.49 lifetime classic version, which I'm fairly sure can be pirated.

iPhone Graal makes me want to buy an iPhone. It would be great going back in time like that and only worry about things like kills and deaths and judging nubness by how many hours someone has.

There is protection on the serverside which is checking for pirated versions and resetting them back to free status.

Would that trigger if you restored your phone, or only if it's being used by an iTunes account that hasn't purchased it?

Either way $2.49 is nothing. So I don't know how this is sustainable?

Graal used to have over 700+ on the Classic server, back when it was Main. I remember when I had to keep clicking connect, trying to get in because there was too many people on.

If we could get servers like UN to be more attractive we can get a lot of these iphone players to play. Really is a bad time (of all times) for Classic to not be on the list. -_-

I'm fairly certain I remember it being like that. Or maybe it was being split between two servers. But I do remember 700+ and having to keep trying to connect.

UN used to be fun. But now, in my opinion they have too many retarded NPCs people lame with. Used to be some nice PKing on the server, till they came out with all these.

lol these threads are the same stories over and over again... smh. You guys must realize that as games age they get less popular and eventually the die out. I don't see why everyone makes a big deal out of it. Honestly, great you spent your life playing a video game, you can move onto a better one, or you can get a life, or you can stop pouting. Games only last if they change with the times, GRAAL is the same as it was in the early 2000's its just that the game didn't change to fit this modern era, so therefore it seems like it sucks but honestly its the same. lol

graal is still unique as far as multiplayer games on PC's go and has been for a long time now.

Bah, nobody wants to go from iPhone to PC with our retarded pricing system.

As soon as that is fixed, things will begin to turn around.

The whole cash shop idea seems to be the best way to have a profitable alternative pricing system.

Something I'd probably buy from a G2k1 cash shop would be a draisine that has rocket boosters or something and leaves flames on the tracks as it passes.

The draisine is much better than silly Era cars V_V.
