Event Planet?

Well, We are talking much now about new planets.
This is a old idea of Jesse..

Creation Of A New Planet
Create a planet which will always remain closed unless an ET opens it (Possibly use the Sun in the middle?). This planet may be altered by the ETs to alter the event being hosted. Meaning the map is never the same, its what the ETs set it as. When opened players go to a dropship (much like Deathmatch, but no class selectors) where a time limit is posted and they are warped into the map when the time is up.

Setting of Events
The ET goes to this planet, and uses set commands to alter the layout of the map. When the event looks complete, they open it and announce players to head to the planet.

The Different Events
Offense and Defense - One team attempts to defend a base from an offensive team. The defense needs to defend it until the time runs out, and the offensive team needs to kill the base before the time runs out.
-The HP of the base can be altered
-The time can be altered based
-The players are placed to random teams
-Players are given set weapons made within the scripting (Like Zone Wars)
-Map can be altered by ET

Deathmatch - Same as the current deathmatch.
-Players are automatically given the guns the ET sets, they each have the same speed
-Supports X amount of teams. *Selected at Random

Capture The Flag - Two different types of games. One where there are two flags, one/team and you need to bring their flag back to your base, while having yours there. Another where there is one flag which both teams are attempting to obtain.
-3 Points to score
-Players have an unlimited number of lives and the clock has no limit
-Players may choose up to 5 weapons to use (Might be interesting to allow players to pick 5 weapons {Event items, Xmas Items, Holiday Items and things bought from the shop are disabled unless selected})

Kill Count - First person to a set number of kills wins.
-ET can alter the number of kills
-Players have an unlimited number of lives
-The clock has a limit which can be altered by the ET
-Weapons are selected by the same process as CTF
-Supports X amount of teams for a summed counter. *Selected at Random

Mech Wars - Players are spawned into the map in a mech. If they lose there mech or accidentally get out, they lose. Last person alive wins.
-Time limit set by the ET

Ice Canon Battles - Same as the one on Deathmatch
-Players are warped into the map with an Ice canon.

Bike Races - Players are given a bike with unlimited HP. If you get out of your bike, it disappears and you lose.
-Laps can be set by ET
-Track can be altered by ET

Hide and Seek - 1/4 of the players attempt to find 3/4 of the other players who are hiding. The use of the "N" key is disabled, as is the use of the mouse showing players names. Players trying to find the hiders need to do it in X amount of seconds.
-Time can be altered by the ET

Hunters - Same planet as deathmatch.
-one 6th of the players are made part of the hunter team. -
-They are given pistoles from this choice list by the ET and these are only temporary(Dark pulsar, dartgun, apprices, appriper, and blaster)
-The teams are selected at random or by the ET as chosen.

Blaster Bounding - New circular map.
-All of the players are spawned into the map with a blaster. -
-The blaster's strength is increased so that you are kicked back by a larger amount and the delay time is also knocked back.
-There are three levels when hit off the first smallest level you are warped onto the second map and when knocked off the second map you go to a third largest map. WHen hit off the third largest map you are kicked back to the dropship. The ET's can warp among the levels and prizes can be awarded to first second and third for whoever is left at the end of the round.

Lunar Jump -On a long flat map. Doesn't need to look pretty or anything.
-Everyone including trials is given a jetpack and only a jetpack.
-You step up to a line and fly as far as you possibly can
-The ET is given yellow markers (Which they use to make account names)
-The person who flies farthest wins

GET HUWY! - On a new smaller map
-The objective is to get the huwajux (or ET hosting)
-The time is 10 minutes long
-The ET is given a box summoning tool and they have say 1000 boxes they can spawn
-The ET has 10-20 minutes to construct a fort.
-The weapons are everything except jetpack(That way you can't fly in and get the ET
-You have to fight to get through all the boxes and concentrate your efforts to be able to get through.

Tag
-The map of deathmatch with just the building and no way off. It could take place at the artic final level.
-One person is it.
-Once they are tagged they are warped to the artic jail and you can see them.
-If you are tagged then you are out
-Final person left wins

The Point... - The whole point of this events planet is to add more events, and to have a simple way for players to get to a specific planet where all the events are, eliminating questions like "Wheres the Event?". Possibly we can add a warp feature where players just click a message that appears if they want to go. We could also abolish awarding prizes and add a prize shop. As an example of what I mean:
1 EC - 500 Money
1 EC - 25 Pipebombs
20 EC's - Bluepistole
20 EC's - Redpistole
18 EC's - Reapers
Ect... So you may trade in your EC for money or items.

If you have other events to add, please post them in the same format as I have (bold title with short description of the event following the title, then points of things which may be altered below) and I will edit this post and add your ideas (giving you credit of course). I know this would require a lot of scripting and work, but I feel it is a great idea. If you agree or disagree, specify why.

good idea, id like to see this in place, an assault map on it would rock too it could also REALLY boost zones playercount and fix its repetativeness.

This idea would require to much work unfortunately. I don't think it should be discussed further :S.

Zone should just hire 10 developers Pay them and make 2 updates a week , Then we would gut a high population.

Which comes to the conculsion of development team being lazy. All I see them coming out with this over powered weapons, and under powered weapons. Bunker died out because they can't find a way to kill Iricia, or atleast stop base laming.

How many times has a weapon came that is too over powered/under powered while this staff team has been active?
How many of the good ideas to stop base laming has been tried?
My guess is none.

That is true they never try something how can you know it wont work then.
Just try it and if it doesnt work remove it!
There made like threehondurtthousend fkn ideas , but the LAZY staff members dont even try it..
