white screen?

Alright, I've ran out of ideas. I have already tried pming friends asking if they had the problem, but they got no clue. My problem is when I use the alt 6 (movie maker thing) the movies turn out white. Also when I use the alt 2 (screen shot) the screen shots turn out white aswell.

What I have tried was installing this Codecs6030_allin1.exe... still no luck
I've tried messing around and doing random capture options...

I'm currently using a vistas 64 bit computer not sure if that makes a difference, and the computer is only a couple weeks old (brand new) if that makes a difference.

Any ideas on how to fix this problem?
