This is an event I wrote a long time ago. It had a great turnout when we did it back then, but I don't see much roleplaying in Zormite these days so it may not be very popular. Still here it is maybe you'll like it =)
----
Some strange rings have been found on the isle of Zormite, and youthful priestess has managed to acquire quite a few of them. Having no need for such a thing, the young woman is seeking to give them away to the individuals she deems most worthy. She did, of course, have trouble with such a large decision, so she has organized a test to see who most deserves such a valuable piece of curiosa.
Waiting patiently throughout the kingdoms are four of the priestess’s most trusted friends, being deemed “Keepers” for the duration of the test. You will organize into teams of three and search out each Keeper, who will be located in a very random spot on one of the five kingdoms (none of them will be on main). When you begin, PM the priestess which Keeper your group wants to look for first (The Keeper of Ice, Keeper of Fire, Keeper of Shadows, or Keeper of Light). The priestess will send you a riddle that describes where that Keeper is hiding. Discuss the riddle in your group and set out to find the Keeper via either a ferry or a boat you happened to find drifting un-attended.
Once your team finds a Keeper, the Keeper will ask the group a riddle. You can have as many chances as you’d like, but be quick! You’re racing against the other teams to get to every Keeper first. If you get the answer to the riddle correctly, the Keeper will present you with an item that shows that you found them and answered their riddle. PM the priestess for another riddle on the location of the next Keeper.
Once you have found every Keeper and obtained an item from each of them, go and see the priestess right inside the entrance to Zormite's castle. Show her all of the items you attained from the Keepers and she will give every member of your party one of the rings.
Rules:
1. The Keepers may not reveal to participating groups their location or the item they will be giving to a group with a correct answer. The riddle is to be kept secret until a group finds them. The answer to the riddle also may not be shared.
2. Different groups cannot share information such as the location of a Keeper, what one of the items is, etc.
3. Answers to riddles must be PMed to the Keeper.
4. All groups must have the number of their group in their name. (ie. If you were group three, each person in that group would have a '3' somewhere in their name)
5. Whichever group reaches the priestess first will win each member of its party a ring. There is no runner-up prize.
6. There is no time limit.
7. Once the event has begun, groups cannot enter late.
8. Have fun, eh?

Remember, this is a roleplaying event, and from what I’ve heard, this is apparently the first one. Take the opportunity to develop your character. Talk and interact with your group as much as possible, and even talk with another group if you happen to pass each other. The point of the event isn’t to win the prize, but to really get to know some other people’s characters and let them know about your own, too. Even if you know the answer to a riddle right away, stand around and consider it a little. What would your character do when faced with a question like this? Would he pace nervously around or sit deeply in silence? Does he rely on the rest of the group to work most things out, or is he more of a leader and takes charge? That’s for you to decide as you progress through the event. Whether you win or not, try to have fun!
For the Keepers- Before the event starts, I’ll lead you to a random place on one of the Kingdoms (you probably know where this location is already) where you’ll stay for the duration of the event. Change your nick to Keeper of [shadows, ice, fire, light]. I’ll give you a fairly large amount of a fairly worthless but unusual item. Once the event starts, stay where I led you and wait for the groups of three to find you. Once one does, greet them ICly and tell them the riddle I gave you. Once someone in the group PM’s you the answer, drop the item I gave you and send them on their way…and if you tell anyone your riddle, its answer, where you are, or what item you have before they find you, I’ll have your head ^.^
Note: If less people then expected show up at the event, there will be teams of two instead of three.
