Bounty Events

Alright, I would like this to be copied, closed, deleted, and pasted onto Huwajux's Event Rules page if possible please.

Bounty Events
A player who obtains a bounty at least over 100 may be nice enough to give it to the server. Here are the rules for these types of events. (This is what I do at least).

Generally the player is good enough to have obtained an event weapon, so the weapons are set to a bad melee weapon, and the event weapon player X (who has the bounty) has.

Rule #1, No one else is aloud to use that weapon. Player X is only for their own protection because certain people will try and kill them and steal the bounty, therefore, ruining the event for everyone. Now Player X isn't aloud to hurt anyone with this weapon, unless of course attacked by players.
Rule #2, even though this isn't for a big prize, it still is a prize, so no teaming, hiding, or running rules are effective.

And thats basically it, simple, yet its crazy how many players get confused on Zone when this is being explained...

I like it but if you can get a high bounty but not have event items?
Can you start up a event for the bounty but the player (X) will not join the DM and when the DM end player (x) will message the player who win and tell him where to go to kill player (x) tell him in a pm and the ET will go there too and see that player (x) give the player who won the DM the bouny.

Yes they can but it creates stress for the ET's. I think they need a setdeathmatchweapon electron, photon cannon(pooper2000000) option just to make it easier but.... oh and please paste what jesse said into the thread.

i think there should just be a /protect "accname" command, and that way it could be used instead of having to go thru all of that.

Yeah but basically were told to deal with the commands we have because odds of new commands being added are slim But I agree with you, good command.

Revise of running. SN edit. I can dumb it down if needed

Ok! What specifies as running here is what I think we can modify this so they can have a better definiton of running in the next events. I'll try to retain from examples.

Running: Backing away continually from the opposing player in a large area continually. If you have a faster class and back away from a slower class and reach farther than the length of a chaingun shot or the length of the screen then you are at the maximum limitation and any further backing away without the oppposing forces movement towards you could be considered running. Dodging in and out is not considered to be running but make sure not to do it continually while also moving backward otherwise that may qualify for your actions to be taken under the hosting ET's decision. Running can also be considered backing away from poisoned enemies by a considerable amount of room. If the enemy heals then you are free to move back to the maximum lenght. Under no reason should you ever turn from an enemy and head in the other direction without attacking. If you are at the very edge of the radar and your enemy is on the polar opposite side or near far angle from your current position then you could be taken into qualification for your actions to be considered by the hosting ET.

Please note that all decisions eventually are the hosting ET's decision. but I hope this can help to clarify future issues and consider a revising of running to be quite auspicious. also at this point the poison part is really only debatable since the rest is jsut further specifactions that the circumstances required be made.

yes but continaully continueing in that action can be considered running seeing as the person being attacked is backing away and has the faster class. That could only apply to the first sentence thogh.....

No, backing away and shooting at the person who chose the slower class is called being smart.

I agree with the unquoted sections of your post, though.

Sprinting away without even making an effort to attack your opponent is called running.
