This is very weird...

Has this ever happened to any of you?
When I opened the level there was a soccer ball in the middle of the level. It appeared out of nowhere and it's not an npc and I can't put any tiles over it either.. If i play the level i can kick the ball around but in the editor it's not an npc...
it's very weird...

Well, this has never happened to me. The only explanation i can give, is that you have "Hide npcs" enabled, so the only way you can see the npc's in the level is if you click "play", but in your case, you can see it which is very weird. Im not really sure what to tell you, im sure that the soccer ball didnt script itself.

It is weird.. I was working on the level one day and then I saved it and closed it.
The next day I opened the level and it was there...

Well, like they say

"Things dont grow legs and walk away"

You probably edited it without noticing...there has to be an explanation.

Spark910 has a spectacular aura about
I've had it two times before, a random ball - and I didn't place it there.

Well, if when you pressed "play" you could kick it around and when you get on editor you cant click on it, well, thats very very strange. I mean, images dont script themselves....Ehh...must be a glitch.

It is a remnant of past Graal versions, if I am not mistaken, and I believe
it dates back to the good ol' days when we had offline multiplayer support.
If I remember correctly, level1.graal was the soccer field and thus the soccer
ball.
Try saving it as a .nw file and see if that works.

Yea...N-Pulse has a level online that has had that ball on it for ages....you cant see it online, but you can see it when you play the level offline, and in the editor, but you cannot remove it...and the name of the level it is on is level1.graal also

Yes, it always does that with level1.graal... Don't remember it being in the actual editor, on when I played it. But yeah, rename your level.

I just did some experimenting and whenever you rename a level to level1.graal, a soccer ball image appears, you cant click it, but when you play the level, you can kick it around.

rename it. that will solve the problem. any level called level1.graal will contain a football;as the original level1.graal (offline mode many people may remember it from years ago) had a football put in it default. Possibly built in, cant be helped

Right, you probably shouldn't say that because it's probably against some rule... But it's mainly gone because it wasn't funny at all and was rather quite dumb...

Somehow my graal vr got corrupted and I saw the old-style red lettering and old-style say2 boxes.

I don't think Stefan ever deletes code from Graal. He just supresses it and adds more on.

Normally when you're 'kidding' it's meant to be funny. As I thought went the definition.

Holy crap ppl. its so obvious that the balls there... omfg.. it is a script but when you click on it you can't pick it up you say?? helps i u click on it properly. like click near the ball on next to it if clicking in the middle don't work. most scripts have got diffeent amount of space so its harder to pick up some than others.

#1 You replied to a thread where the last reply was over 2 months ago.
#2 the ball is not a script, it is not an image that anyone has put into the level...it just appears there. I have had it happen to me.
It shows nowhere in the editor that it is there at all, and you cannot remove it, or pick it up.
Solution: Dont name a level "level1.graal"
