it worked on v5.
people on v6 can't hear v5 talkers too

AFAIK microphone uses UDP which doesn't exist on v6.

Not going to happen, and not really needed either. Dedicated software for that kind of stuff does a way better job at it.

Yeah, most of us know about joy2key, xpadder and other programs, but if they had it in a previous version, there's no real reason to scrap what actually works lol.

The reason is simple, there are better quality products out there that support VoIP. The old system was complete garbage and just became an easy way to harass others (sound boards, little annoying children voices, etc). If you really want to use VoIP, install Skype or vent.

1) people can easily mute people harassing them. if you think the option is hard to find they can make it better

2) vent and skype aren't as easy to use, and you need everyone to join the same server with you! sometimes you want to talk to new people, or random team mates in events. + there is no reason to flood your computer with new programs just to use features we used to have built in

1) No. The fact that I have to hear them for that slight second while I find the mute button pisses me off. Most players have Graal completely muted as well, that way they don't have to hear the horrible sounds that most servers provide.

2) Most people have a 500 GB-1 TB of storage, I doubt they're concerned about flooding their computers with programs. Besides, Skype is easy to configure, and I use it on an iPhone while I occasionally play Graal. You're making this harder than it has to be.

tim 1) you have the option to disable all mic sound in advance, if it bothers you so much just disable it, but don't say people should be forced not to use it
2) it's not about space, it's about adding junk to your computer for no reason. and again it's useless if you want to use it with random people and not just guild friends. people don't use skype for team fortress 2 and cod3 right?

Cow, it's not going to be added. The client barely gets updated for important issues, I doubt you'll get something that can simply be used with another program added to the client.
