Since it seems everybody can't get over the stupid "collecting crap idea" what ya do is this

RP World (real)
Economy World (dream)

This way you can have us Real roleplayers becapable of really roleplaying and all those "economicist" have their own little side of the bush.

If you goto a bed you get asked if you want to enter the Dream World which contains everybodys favorite collecting stuff, pking, and events, of course Dreamworld doesn't have day and night, but it could have a slight blue tint to it. If you want to wake up from the Dreamworld all you have to do is goto a bed in the Dreamworld and it asks you if you want to return to the Real world.

RP World should contain all new stuff (New Overworld)
Dreamworld should contain ALL THE CURRENT STUFF (Old Overworld)

Maybe spilt these forums in the same way
Roleplaying, Economic,
Roleplaying subforums
Sagas, Stories, Kingdoms, Adventures, the Ye'Ole Tavern
Econmic Forums
Trading, Collectables, Events, Guilds

Have staff for each world too...don't need "economist" adding their garage to the RP world.

And if anyone responds 'thats what Kingdoms is for' I will shoot them. Like I have explained before, on graal there are two types of RPing. One thats Kingdoms style(crappy one) and then theres Bomy Moon style(good one). I have talked to friends and they said they would come back if the RPing came back. Anyway I agree with Ghost Pirate.

Seems like it makes more sense for the RP world to be the Dream world.

Because reality consists of economics, PKers, items and values. Whereas fantasy consists of cosplay and roleplay. (Like me being Kenshin.

)

Well its not really economics when it comes to Graal, its called collecting, but its the term you people want to use. Also you don't kill someone and the person gets back up and kills you.

Also "economic" should be dreamworld because all you do is collect simple nothings and play limit mini-games.

I think a duel server would be hard to coordinate, seeing as how masses from one world would be sent to masses of the other world and how different overworlds would have to be created (making the work 2x more).

Well Masses don't even matter, considering how real roleplaying doesn't exactly envolve using them. Also you already have the first one (unless the current overworld wasn't backed up when Jeff stupidly backtracked it about 1½ years.

The thing is, if you don't block masses, with 100+ people on the server (as we hope again) you'll get SWAMPED.

However, if you block them, you may miss an event you'd like to play in, or a sale of an item you'd like to purchase.

How is this all that different from what I suggested before about designating land to be RP only/Economy only?

Yes, because keeping RPing and the economy seperate doesn't require two overworlds.

I like the idea. The new overworld should go to RPing, and the old one for all the economic stuff. But it wouldn't be done anytime soon. Lack of staff = bad.

Wryoko has a backup to the very day of the reversion, and I have some older backups with all or very close to all of the 2003 levels.
