Stranded

This is a new planet idea.

Stranded
Your ship was soaring through the asteroid belt when the engine began to fail.
The ship slowly drifted off of an asteroid toward a planet with the conditions to support life. The planet is composed of small archipelagos.

As you swoop through the atmosphere you see dark shapes of large fish in the water. You hope you never have to see those fish up close and personal. As you quickly descend through the atmosphere friction causes for the nose of your ship to begin incineration. The ground rushes up quickly and your entire body shudders as the ship impacts with the ground.

You wake up as you feel water trickling over your legs. You stand up with a small grunt of pain and quickly observe your surroundings. Your island is not connected to any others except for the water that surrounds the planet. As you look into the distance you spot ominous clouds moving toward your position. You quickly move toward the palm trees in hopes of finding higher land or a cave. While racing to find a cave, you stumble upon a ladder. Quickly you climb down the ladder to be out of the way of the savage storm that is approaching. As you descend to the bottom of the cave you hear a sharp crunching noise as your foot lands on the ground. You examine the deceased person’s body and encounter a book. Begging the dead soul’s forgiveness you reach down and pry the journal from the remains. You open it and begin to read.

Alright. Hopefully that wasn’t too suspenseful for anyone. I doubt it. This is an idea for a new planet. The planet is composed of small islands. The islands are not connected and to travel across the water you will have to use a baes (New vehicle). The second lower floor is the bunker that others previous to you set up. Seeing as this level is quite large you will have a jeep (New Vehicle) to travel through the bunker to fight the enemy. The third level I did not mention before is the mining/lava area. (That will be similar to the gwars caves).

The “trick”:
The tricks on this map are plentiful. The storms make it impossible to travel outside at times. The bunker is poorly lit and you must use jeep lights. The lava flows/mine are lit by the lava but the lava can rise in areas and will cost your health points.

Classes: Seeing as your ship was damaged some materials managed to float off into space. I was thinking of 2 new classes already. The first class is your medic. They have to charge your bases power so you can respawn. If they don’t you may not be able to respawn. The medic’s have a new weapon that will charge the bases machines. Other than that you will have assorted classes each time.

The big “trick”:
Your team has 100 lives total. So if you have bad players on your team you may want to protect them. Otherwise they may waste your lives. The last team standing wins obviously.

Traveling:
While this world isn’t large the islands are connected by water so you must travel across water on the baes. You will not be able to shoot from the baes so be careful when traveling. Baes’s will not be able to protect you from storms.
The previous establishment has odd lighting so you may not be able to see well in some places. But you can travel in jeeps. (Jeeps will allow you to carry 2-3 players)
Also the lavacaves allow all weapons. But maybe certain ice weapons (That would be new) could freeze the lava up so that you may walk on it during a lava flow.

Your teams personal bunker:
While your base may not have enough power you have an energy efficient computer system. This computer system cannot be damaged. It will create a force field through which only your team may walk. This only protects the inside of your bunker.
Bunkers will have several entrances, exits so as to prevent laming.

Teams: Teams would be randomly generated and you could only have so many of a certain class. For example: 1 heavy infantry, 2 light infantry, 1 scout. (That is JUST AN EXAMPLE)

So does anyone like this? I know it isn't the best writing in the world but does this sound remotely fun?

mm, reminds me of the Battlefield series too much.
This idea, no offense, seems more stolen than it is though of..

This idea doesn't suit Zone's arcade playing style.

I've always wanted a kind of map like the Zombie Horde servers on Counterstrike. One team can only use melee but they have a ton of health which recovers gradually, and the other team have shotguns and normal health which doesn't recover.

I don't care if it's stolen, it's a bloody classic concept.

Yes I know most Zone worlds are shoot um up. GO GET UMS' YEA! "stuff"
I think this would be fun even if it does require some teamwork. I think the zone players might be able to learn.

They will learn after people who will work together do. They will learn after that. Rushing would be kind of hard in this one I think. Well not really but kind of at the same time if you know what I mean.

Awesome idea is awesome.

I wouldn't be so hard to find on Zone with something like this.

Well thats none of your business first off... But you draw a strong point, your average Zone player can't walk and breath at the same time...

SN, maybe we can have Hover Bikes pulling one another over the water? Sorry, I just really can't see the Baes(sp?) walking over it...
