cove like level

I guess it's a cove i donno but rate if u want. I didn't go into too much detail and im not sure if the right side of the long cliffs is a tile error

::UPDATE::
added some detail to it, tell me what you think

I like it. The minimum detail works, perhaps a little more in the lower right corner and maybe add something to fill that part up a bit then it'd look good.

The detailing is very classic and nice the beach is nice aswell good work

That really screwed up my eyes when I first saw it, I thought, "What... I don't understand this second section" (the grass below the second level).

I feel the reason for this is because of the water on the second level - you would think that, since it's a cove there wouldn't be grass down the bottom with water, aswell as a baren play on the mid level with no grass and just water.

But I'm confident the majority of you will disagree.

I like it alot, actually. A bit more detail in that bottom right corner and fix up a few small tile errors that I think I spotted. I'll give you a score if you put a bit more detail there of 8.5/10. Really neat.

It's ok. Better detail is needed, I don't like the southern beach+grass style, and the cliff has some errors. As a matter of fact I'm not a fan of that kind of cliff joining.

Second screenshot is good. Just the right amount of detail. Not sure if I'm right, but I like it.

alright, i guess ill give my input. Lets start off with...
A: This area...just my suggestion, maybe smooth out the darker sand tiles. It looks really bumpy...Some may like it, so just my suggestion. *shrug*
B: I realize you cut off the shadows on the cliffs, but if you're going to use the "bumpy" dark sand effects as i mentioned above, i suggest finish the style, dont make those flat...creats a weird contrast with the rest of the dark sand tiles
C: You're level kinda messed with my eyes as well. Just another suggestion..id recommend keeping shadows one direction. only place i noticed though.

besides my few comments, which as i always say you can take or brush off-its your level- I like the lack of heavy detail.

I like it, though I have 1 complaint.

I don't like the swamp below your cliff. It needs the endings, or something..

i give it 9.8/10 i think its better than any of my work, i really like it alot, even the one without much detail seemed really nice. i liked how you did the cliffs well, and the grass and dark dirt patches were outstanding.

i can't find anything bad except i would've added more detail to the plain grass in the south

It is one direction. The shadow goes north.

It's nice, theres not much to say about it. And as for the people that try their best to point out any errors (no matter how small) let them talk. They mostly suck at assorting a bunch of tiles together (aka Leveling) and get off on making others look bad.

9/10 Its a clean, "simple" ... yadayadayada.. its just nice

I do this quite frequently actually, as did Wan, and a few others, and I'm pretty sure we're not bad tilers. Its called helpful and constructive criticism. The only reason I never posted in this thread earlier is because I was talking to him privately for help.
