The path looks horrible, maybe edit the colours of them to suit it's surroundings?

yeah, like wan said, change the light blue tile to the red one to match the warm colors of the houseground tile ...if any of you guys get that
matching tiles by the color shades like warmer (reds orange) and darker (blue brown)

hmm ya i see that path is better suited next to grass.
I tried some difrent paths,

i know not to use the top one (first)
so which is better:
2nd
3rd
4th?

i usually make npcs but every lat i hired for my pw either quit or does nothing, so i am having to make the world myself - and i want to make it nice.

Maybe use the houseground tile as the path and use some sort of dirt as the ground... You could alter the dirt, and houseground tiles a bit to make them blend together better.

Edit: Something like this... These are just quick examples of what I was thinking about. You should take more time when you make the tiles yourself if you choose to do this sort of path.

Prozac, I advice you to try some diffrent styles or atleast try to avoid going into the direction you are currently heading. Fortifications are nice but they look horrible with most of the graal tiles, try using 'building bricks' (Used for normal houses)

There are a few examples of fortifications that worked out alright, try checking Doomsday (if its still on Dev) it has 2 or 3 fortified cities that looked nice (as far as I remember)

It also wouldn't hurt to try doing something with wooden poles, no straight lines but maby a shattered fortification?

As far as I can judge your flooring, straight lines can be nice aslong as you don't use "small" repetative paterns/tiles. Than it will just look very easy/cheesy and horrible. You might try to do a mix between grass/stone pathways for the inside of a city.

PS: Castle "tile" fortifications can be nice but they aren't extremly sexy in the way your using them. The top part looks nice (except for the flooring in it) but the "wall" is just horrible.

Good luck
