Only way Gang A suffers a loss, is if it LOSES a raid.
In the new method, Gang A still suffers a loss, if it loses a raid.
Therefore, only thing that's changed is people don't notice or "feel" that loss because the points don't drop.
In any event, this method is more like training wheels or newbie protection, I guess. Seeing as if Gang B beats Gang A for a 100 points, they'd simply be tied. In other words, Gang A suffers nothing for losing (the hell?).
If that's the change they wanted (not sure why), they got it. Then again, you still lose your 0 point lead, just don't fall a 100 points behind in the process (lol).
