I could have made a team with giratina, mewtwo, ho-oh, etc. but I wanted to use pokemon that I like and ones that look cool, and then I taught them moves to try and make them strategic, rather than just trying to kill the opponents pokemon in one hit.
For Example: My Tangrowth knows leech seed, ingrain, toxic and giga drain and has leftovers.
So if I U-Turn my doubled teamed Farfetch'd to Tangrowth you're gonna have a hard time hitting it and it's going to passively regain 3/8ths of its health every turn + giga drain, as you get killed by an increasing poison.
I was considering making a Smeargle with sing, recover, lock-on and guillotine just to be a jerk but I don't really like Smeargle.
And I'll probably replace Darkrai with a Marowak when I get the chance. Considering Marowak is cool and actually can get the highest attack stat of any pokemon. Plus this:
