I had a problem once before where my IP kept changing. I use a cable connection to my modem, and it turned out the copper wire was corroded. Not sure if that's helpful, but you should call your ISP before attempting such an investigation. Tamper with it yourself without a go-ahead, they might deny you a tech support guy call-out if necessary. |
