I don't see the point of restricting a trial subscription to iPhone users only. Are we giving up on every other market?

I think it would be more sensible to allow players to create new accounts that are able to do a considerable amount of what Gold accounts can do for 10 or so days, and limit the ability to trade items and money to prevent older players from creating these for some sort of financial gain on server.
