Okay, so you say there will be RPG leveling. With no level cap. And stat upgrades, but only a few, as to retain the Classic feel.
What makes you think that with only a few weapons, leveling without a level cap, which essentially means that once you get past a certain point it's pointless to continue leveling, as there can't be an unlimited amount of worthwhile rewards for leveling, since you've already stated strenth and defense will only recieve slight increases, the server will be any more perpetual than your standard Classic server..? To me it sounds like you're too lazy to populate your world with high-quality quests released every few weeks, and would rather have some half-assed RPG system perpetuate your playercount. Other games have done it; why not you guys?
It should either be 100% Classic or 100% RPG, not something that looks like a two-year old scripted it in 2001 with the default health, movement, hit detection, but with an XP bar and equippable replaceani swords. |
