You get gelats by using real money to pay for them, and with gelats you buy items from the "Graal Shop" or "GBay" for short. And about the trial thing, GK should make a Island where Trials can only play or maybe a Island where you start out but can not go back to after you leave, it will be a tutorial Island and once you get lvl 2 and leave, you can't come back or something.
