No, they actually compiled an Intel version which does not have to use emulation. It is far faster than the PPC client, even on a PPC system.

When you hit a key, it takes like a third of a second to show up, if you type too fast, they can actually get out of order somehow, etc.

There's no point in it; it's just a waste of time. They just need to set up a testbed-type server.

Uh .. any good scripter would script all there stuff ON the server, not somewhere else and then transfer it. Otherwise, it's pretty hard to debug.

Not what I meant. I mean a public set-up server (with some special options to allow anyone to log in and have access to just a private level and rw WEAPONS/acc/* and such)

Might as well just make a way for people to develop online. For example, they could make a server where anyone can learn to script or whatever.

It won't happen ... I find it pretty useless, anyway. There's no need for debugging scripts in level editor; in many cases it's better to create a class anyway.
