Your messages are ignored.

Can we please not get this message from people who have us on ignore every time we mass on RC?

TESTRETIS 08-22-2009 08:06 AM

..or override it so they do get the message since the sender is staff.

Would be useful, it can be hard to contact people who put staff on ignore. It forces us to disconnect them or admin message them, which is far more inconvenient.

no on some servers staff massing is extremely annoying particularly UN where everyone is ****ing staff and I dont want to get mass messages.

There's another thread about this, and Stefan has already fixed it (waiting on him to transfer to the non-UC servers).

Getting a PM from someone who is ignoring you every time you mass is indeed annoying. Works good on some games, but only because they show a text somewhere on your screen saying "<name> is ignoring you.".

On Graal, I reckon the best solution would be just to display people who ignore you in red text or similar.

No, they also send you a PM. :)

Well all that really needs to be done is disabling the whole, "You've been ignored" reply if it's a mass message.

Also if you have problems communicating with people who put staff on ignore why not just go on RC or Staff tag? Pretty sure those go through regardless of being on their ignore list.

If its a mess yes, its pretty annoying. However, if it's a PM, I think the red name system used on the client would be better(and hell, why not for masses), if you send a PM to someone, you'd probably want to know if it didn't go through due to ignore.

Nope. PMs of local staff will never go through if you have been put on ignore. You can send an admin message or communicate with a different means if available, but not PM.

Nope, staff cannot override "ignore".

Only on RC. The client just displays the name in red.
