Guild "Nickname Format"

I have never understood what this option does in the Guild CP, maybe someone can shed some light. I've tried messing with it, but it doesn't seem to change anything when I do.

Probably just as useless as the Guild Items that it used to have and was overlooked when the other useless options were removed.
