Problem with motion blur item?
 

I've had reports and seen this happen myself. From what I understand, the "motion blur" item sold over graal shop can sometimes freeze Graal and cause computers to bog down quite a lot. It happened to me about a week ago when someone put it on, and it happened to everyone else in the level as well. Earlier today a GP jailed someone for using this item to intentionally freeze people up. While I explained to the GP that we shouldn't jail people for using content they paid for, it is no doubt abusable. I have seen it work when one person used it, but from what I understand there have been at least two separate incidents in which this item's use caused everyone in the level to freeze. It is possible it was another item though, I am not entirely sure, this is just what it is believed to be.

Anyone know anything about this?

Doesn't the motion blur item only affect the client that uses it? :confused:

I've seen someone who had it walking around with the motion blurs trailing behind them, so no, I don't think so.

Unless by that you meant they're the only one who gets the effect. In which case, yes, but everyone else can see it.

Edit:
Tested the global_motionblur gani and it totally freezes Graal and disconnects my messengers. My router starts flashing orange to indicate I have lost connection, AIM goes and it doesn't come back until I exit Graal, after which point I have to go into my attributes and change my gani before logging back in.

It's the thing that makes it appear as if your player has a motion blur behind it, not the "drunk" thing.

On which server did it happen? The item is surely working fine, it's just displaying a simple effect. I've however heard of problems on Unholy Nation because they have changed the systems for zooming etc.
