Support

I know there have been many threads about this, but still nothing has been done.

Support for Graal is absolutely terrible. Support for playerworld-related issues are generally solved quickly (Bell does an excellent job of this, though it can sometimes take 2-3 days; do the other PWAs even check these?)

My recent ticket got no response for two and a half weeks, at which point I just gave up on it :\

Of course, there were not a lot of people that were even able to answer this ticket. Perhaps instead of defending "the people we have do as much as they can ..." Graal should look into getting some more people to answer support tickets (by that I mean ones that can solve them, not just say "Okay, I'll leave this for x who can solve it")

Doesn't anyone else think it's crazy to have support this bad?

I find it funny how the PWAs can't solve this whole Era crash due to a lack of rights. It's ridiculous that we have to wait for Stefan to get this fixed when this could of been fixed no more than an hour after the crash. There are plenty of other circumstances where tickets can't be solved because only 1 person can take care of them.

Bell mentioned something about this in Crono's thread about the Role of PWA? <--Click for Bells posted response.

As it stands, only Stefan or unixmad can bring back up Classic and Gold Servers, which is completely dumb indeed. With the limited ability to bring such servers back online, all the PWA (Or even GST, as Skyld found when he had a go at it) get spammed with when they try such an action is

PHP Code:

Attempt to restart eraError
Attempt to start era
Error
Attempt to npcstop era
Error

which just further ties their hands in the matter z_z

The problem is not that we don't have enough rights in this instance, it's that the Era gserver is not a managed server (controlled by a monitoring process) and therefore the servercontrol rights we do have are useless on it.

Stefan's been on vacation since all of the recent threads about it.

People have been making threads for years.

Yes but currently, that I've seen, there have been a lot more at one time than ever before...
