For More Protection

1 Attachment(s)
For more protection to our account we must create a command that shows what time the account was connected. to tell the players if there had someone who has logged into his account as shown in the image if below. the order will be the same (showonlinetime) except that it will show us a table.

No.
That's what we have an IP protector thing for.
And that's all of Graal.
Plus, that's completely unecassery.

Perhaps it would have been easier to take this suggestion seriously if it was spelled correctly.

IP protector? Are you talking about linking your account to a Computer ID?

seanthien 07-26-2008 08:16 AM

Why is this in zone forums..

pooper200000 07-26-2008 01:08 PM

Doesn't it already say that on the website when you log in sometimes?
Like the last world you visited was world at so and so time.

Moved from the zone forums to feature request forum.

Yeah.
Forgot the name xD

I don't see the harm in a 'last connected at <insert time & date>, from <insert IP here & computer ID> being on the login.

It's a common feature for online games.

Good Idea , Protecting account from hackers is one of the importants things in my opinion so Why not?

Loriel 07-27-2008 10:55 PM

Why stop with one additional password? Graal should require that you set ten passwords and then enter all of them every time you login. It would be ten times as secure.

What in the world are you talking about? No where did we mention passwords or the sort.

I was trying to troll that closed thread in the Era forum and this one in the same post for increased efficiency.

Because I do not think you can really do anything if people are giving out their passwords in the first place.

I think it is a good idea, as staff some hackers can get pretty mad at you and you wan't as early warning that something is wrong as possible. More importantly though, with this constantly fluctuating playercount, shouldn't we be able to check when someone was last on and for how long to make much more informed hiring decisions and watching for activity?

The first warning that something is wrong with you is that you are afraid of hackers.
