Flying System
 

I was wondering how the flying feature system was coming along, because that is what i'm looking forward to and can't wait to use it.

I think the flying system is going to be introduced on Zone or GK sometime soon. You could always pester Bjorn or Dan and ask them if it will be introduced on their server soon.

Or it could be released with version 6.

As much as they care about you as a customer ... it's been almost two years.

Signs point to no.

The flying technology is ready for use and actually quite simple (as unixmad told me). I believe it'll be used soon. We wanted to try it on Zone but the Zone maps don't look real well when zoomed.

That's a lot like what they told us Christmas '06.

I recently spoke with Unixmad and he said to me that he told Stefan I'm having permission to use it for Zone (if possible). But I'm not sure how serious he was, though I've been talking to Stefan about it and we think we're going to need a different type of map for it maybe.

So no word on Gk's blimps? The ones we've been getting teased with for several years? Dropping bombs on players? Soaring above the clouds? That was, at the time, the hook of the flying technology, the whole appeal to it. Where is it now?

The day this comes out. Is the day these forums arn't that strict.

I suppose that first Zone and GK get access (as they are gold servers and should be the main product of Graal). I guess later on other servers can use it too but I'm not sure about that.

can you release it today so ill atleast have a chance at using it ?

Meeh I saw so much vids about it, even one on UN X.X
It looks like it's pretty ready oryou can exploit it, but yet there is nothng about it anywhere..Only on debugs or servers that normal players can't access.
I guess zone iPhone is the place where it been tested ?
