A ? about serverside scripting.

Without access to an RC or a server in particular, is there any way to test server side scripts online, or is it all just done in the basic theory that it will work, and if it doesn't, then it's fixed on the fly?

I'm just learning GS2, but am well on my own with GS1 and some C++ so it's not to difficult a transition to make. I just never got into scripting server side yet :D

It's displaying syntax errors when you upload the script, and also displays some errors (missing functions etc.) in RC Chat. You call that "on the fly" I guess ? :)
