Change staff accounts
 

I'm the only person on Val with change staff accounts, yet somehow my Head RPA just hired an RPA all on his own, which kind of freaked me out because I thought he got someone to give him more rights. I checked, he doesn't have change staff accounts, so how did he add someone to the server opts? Is this a bug or what? Is it that I am a total idiot that doesn't know what the change staff accounts right is actually for?

He could do it through a Weapon Script if he has it. But I think he shouldn't be able to add rights with out the command checked. :/

Well I don't think your RPA should've even had server ops but...

change staff accounts doesn't affect the staff= list. I think that controls editting of /openaccount or /openacc Global RC control and editting of e-mails and names and stuff

Well, it's not just him. One of my other staff without the right just tested it and was able to do it. A bug?



Roleplaying Admins are one of the highest staff ranks on Valikorlia, they have had it long before I became manager.

Like I said...I think staff acocounts thing is for the /openacc and /openaccount features for global staff. :p

Ok. Nobody's ever changed the list of staff accounts besides myself since I've been manager and since the name of the right is "Change Staff Accounts" I simply assumed that was what it was for.

Anyone with 'edit rights' and 'change server options' can add staff. 'Change staff accounts' seems to be a right that is a remnant from earlier versions of Graal.
