What's new? I mean I've logged on a couple of times over the past week (first time since I was removed) and I asked around to see what's new, with nothing of real substance coming from it. Amongst the cynical and disappointed responses apparently there's a new dungeon or something.. brilliant!

Amongst the staff I've spoken to, there's absolutely no clue as to if there's any short term or long term development under way or even planned, so I figured this thread might get some answers as apparently there's a problem with management activity, but I know they post here. Honestly, I don't think the players themselves can wait another two months for another possible update either.

I might sound bitter, but I'm not at all. It does however piss me off to know that I was replaced with two people who are too interested in their own projects (or any official project they can get in on) rather than doing the job they were filling. Anyway, I think it'll be interesting to hear what's going on.

From what I've gathered, they've been spending time developing shiny new gadgets/interfaces rather than something the server actually needs: content.

Great, let's over complicate everything! Stellar idea for a server with an average age range of 14/15.

Zodiac needs improved quality before anything. It's monsters have to be re-done, it's levels need to be improved, and dungeons need to be re-done in my opinion.

I don't know why PWA are just sitting there. What the **** happened to quality control?

About Zodiac.. Due to recent major changes in my life, including double jobs, I find myself lack of time to do anything on Zodiac - or Graal at all for that matter.

I have only logged on Graal a few times the last month, and each time I went to Zodiac to read comments/server options/etc.

Zero (zokemon) is in charge until I've gotten my life "in order" - and from what the staff has told me, he's doing a good job. Both him and I are fully capable of fixing anything that needs to be done, and the staff knows how to contact both of us in case none of us are on at the time being.

The PWA are well aware of the situation, and for as long as it works out - I see no reason for them to do anything about it.

And guess what, me and Zero along with a few others have been working on Zodiac Dev to secure the systems and make them less laggy. No changes will be made in the gameplay.


Please, ask me personally the next time instead of rant on the forums about it.

It's funny you should say this really, because it directly contrasts what I've heard. Jokemon told me yesterday that he'd quite happily pass on management to someone else, it's just a case of finding someone who is capable. The staff have told me that as a pair, you're both extremely hard to contact, and are very inactive, where as they appreciated the fact that I was "always around if [they] needed [me]". Drander, the PR Administrator is the person most people go to.

You kind of missed Crono's point in mentioning the PWA. Currently the overall quality of Zodiac is abysmal, and to even recognize it as a good Classic server is stupid. The quality is something that was going to be fixed, but apparently that is being ignored yet again.

The current gameplay is going to last for how much longer? Sure, you might be redoing the systems, but that is something that the players might notice for the whole of 5 minutes. How is this going to bring in any new players, and why are the current players going to enjoy the server more? Really it's just remaking, not building on something that's already there. I know the systems need remaking, but bringing this up as though it's a justifiable means of not making any new content is silly.

You know everything that happens on Zodiac right? And the quality might not have been raised by a lot, but it's certainly not lower then it was when you were manger.



When massive lag that occurs every 10 minutes go away, the players will only notice the improvement for 5 minutes? Okay.



No one has tried to contact me, at all. And my thread was out of pure curiosity, and as I posted in it, will not change our prioritys. We are already following a plan, and have been for a while.

I ask you once again to PM me if you want me anything, not ranting about it on the forums. If not, I'll have the moderators lock this thread since it serves no purpose.
