Why are we forced to allow HTML in PMs.

In the past we could disable HTML in PMs so that those of us who don't care about how you want to mass out some image you made in paint didn't have to load it. How come we can't do this anymore?

I would like to see this feature again, too. I don't really like html in PMs...Though you shouldnt display the html related stuff its turned off, so the messages dont look weird.

The change to using the GUI controls for the PM window means that Internet Explorer is no longer being called upon to render HTML, but instead is being selectively rendered internally by the engine. It's quite a lot safer and things like JavaScript won't work, and only a limited number of tags will render.

I suppose it wouldn't be too difficult to add a HTML filtering function though, if it's preferred not to see any HTML at all.

What about disabling only pictures in PM's?

Loading large images causes the client to hang.

I think we should be allowed to disable the client pm's. 80% of the time i'm pming more than 1 person and the client pm GUI lags me so it's hard to type in each pm.
