One on the right sucks, one of the left rocks

The blades of grass on the left are way too thick. As for the rock, the shading on the left seems a bit random.

Looks kind of weird, but could be potentially quite nice. You should try making a bigger demo with the grass in action.

Looks pretty good man. The grass in the one on the left reminds me of some pricier Florida grass to some extent. Needs a bit of work, but overall, as I said, looks pretty good. :D

On the right side of the big rock I realize the detailing is splotchy but I just need to clean it and decide was the perspective of that particular part of the rock is going to be.

For some reason I am drawn to the one on the right.

I personally like the grass/sand on the left better than the right, and the rock on the right better than the left. :) But as for the rock on the left.. It seems as if you didnt very much try to pay attention to where you put your highlights/shades. It would probably look better if you cleaned it up. ;)

Yeah I haven't gotten to cleaning it still but I will do it soon.
