Hey, here's what I've been doing lately, my inspiration for these are Suikoden 2, Dusty and Shakram.
Dusty, I tried to do bricks like yours, I hope you don't mine. If you do I'll remake them. Same goes for Shakram for the stone paths.

The lamp and the brick walls I'm still working on, I just felt like showing them.
Comments and suggestions please.

Bricks look good on the lower part, upper part looks like ****.

The brown tiles look good, but the silvery part is bad

Lamp Post looks ok so far, keep going.

Wall looks ok so far, keep going.

Small brown floor on the bottom right looks good.

I made the bricks thicker, I just used this level to show an example of what they look like in game. Yes I'm going to make it look less repetitive.

No offense, I like them and everything, but bricks seem to be becoming a fad.

the build in the top middle looks like it has no inside

i dont realy care for the building tiles but i like the broken piller tiles :D

I didn't make the piller's :-p I forgot to mention that.
