Recieved PM's: History
 

Would be a nice feature if there was a history of the last 20 or so PMs received.

Something like so, in a text box or something:

account:nick:timestamp


Think it would be very useful for those servers like Zodiac, where you open a pm, then close it and forget who sent it... Could be something importiant in the PM, and you closed it because all the Mass Messages beforehand were nothing but spam and stuff.

Probably useful for other reasons too :p


Also, the box would clear when you leave the server and join another one? Unless you are VIP/Gold and you have global messaging.

I like this idea. Sometimes you get a pm and for whatever reason Graal is closed and you have no idea who pmed you. It would be nice to be able to see all recent pms.

Pretty much but for some servers, *cough*zodiac*coughcough*, the F2 log becomes huge and could suck to come back to find posts. Should be an option to clear it since It can't be doing good for RAM. Most of zodiacs log is "error destroying unexistant profile" and repetitions of "ca" and "cb".

Would be nice to separate the console log into different tabs maybe? Errors, General Events, PMs, etc?

Well Zodiac should fix those scripting errors and should not display debug messages to players, the F2 window is normally meant for game-related information.
It could be possible to script such a PM log, a script just needs to receive onPM events and open PM or history windows when you click on a name in the log.

or... just develop a tabbed display which catches all "PM:" events from the log and displays them in the "PM" tab...? :rolleyes:
