Order of operations, zone style.

Well I've noticed something that would help the newer players ALOT in them vs 2+ people. I finally got around to posting it now.

Their is a certain order I go by when I get attacked by a group. First, kill the flamethrowers, they must die seeing as they cause Lots Of Lag (lol). Then take out the chainguns, they block out an exit if you need to make a hasty retreat. Then dispatch the strafes seeing as strafing > not-strafing for teaming. Next take out the shotguns or pistoles. Finally kill what's left of the band of teamers.
Note: Do not heal until the flamethrowers are killed, you'll stop, lag, then won't be able to move thus being mauled by the entire group.

FCSP, the rest is just added. (less letters than pemdas)

After strafers, mellers are probally a next best choice to hunt down.

Does anyone agree

Not really, they're more of a pest than appirces, just fire shots at the rest and try to avoid melee.

I don't think anyone will take notice of this. It's not very helpful anyway...:[

It takes a fair amount of skill to even get past the heavy infantry. Most of the time you can kill 30% of them they start to run away x.x
It'll help some of the newer players ALOT. This must have saved me 500-1k deaths from being teamed. Not much by how much I get teamed anyway, but enough to help some.

It's called instinct. Even in a game it's natural. Unless your brain dead. Oh and if your being teamed, wouldn't it be smart to go in a team yourself? People will listen to you, if you give them half the chance.

Teaming isn't efficient, you have to split your kills between X number of people, and you're in trouble if you run into a person with pipebombs and a jetpack. This is just additional advice, if it doesn't hurt it helps, even a little.

For me I just kill the people that who look like the easiest target then go after the bigger ones or I try to strech out the group around corners then take a bunch out. but then I have a 2 to 1 kill to death ratio so I'll give this thing a try

Dante55555 11-13-2006 03:26 AM

My opinion on killing teamers is plain and simple. Dodge... Make sure to god dam hell that you always have the lead and can always easaly run from them, (don't run unless completly necasery COWARD!) and NEVER get your back to a wall. If your do, you need to be able to get a jetpack on fast or ur screwed. The key to killing anyone really is to focus more on dodging than actually shooting acuratly. Who cares if you miss. Least you dont lose HP. And when it comes to Teaming, blind shooting usualy works anyway coz u usualy end up hitting somone. What Typhoon said on flamers 1st is true but thats only if they lag you, and if your not already on fire. If your on fire already and it doesnt lag u as much then dont bother, they cant hurt u anymore. Setting somone on fire thats on fire does NOTHING. It doesnt make them on fire longer. It doesnt hurt them more it just.. Does nothing.. Well, what i would do would be to go for the most vunrable 1. Or the closest. The 1 that looks like hele die the easyest. Its genrally the 1 who lags or is a slow class, this is another reason to kill Chainers 1st. They run slower than Poisend grenaders when there actually shooting. Use your terain to your advantage, like leading them near barrles and blowing the lot of them up. And whatever you do when your being teamed, is NEVER get surrounded. Its a easy way to die, if you see a noob driving on a bike and he stops behind u, simply take his bike drive infront of him and smash it to bits, that way theres no more bike and your infront of everyone again. (Or you could just run, but thats cowardly)

-Hope it helps,
Jo

killer_dog10 11-23-2006 04:45 AM

Dante is right I don't want to go into a party to try to kill the flamers since most likey flamers dont make me lag as much
