Problem with teleporting when leaving ships

Actually, this only really happens when I try getting to the Zormite Republic. When I try leaving my ship when I reach the island, it teleports me back to my last save point. The only way I can really get to the island is by using the pay ship to reach it. I don't experience this problem with any of the other islands.

Maybe you're jumping out into deep water, so you sort of wash up at your last save point.

Yea.

If you leave the boat when it's in deep water you'll get sent back to your last save point. It's finnicky, so be careful.

No. I'm right next to the shore when I get off my ship.

If you're a member of an enemy kingdom (in this case that would be Samurai) you can only get off your ship by using a dock.

Whoa yea...oh yea! I remember when I was in Dustari and I landed in Samurai that would happen to me. Back then the two kingdoms were enemies. Always thought Samurai had buggy waters.

This is actually a widespread bug that seems to come back up every once in a while.

I'm guessing its the enemy thing, but a trick I use is to turn the boat away from land so that the wheel is closest to the shore and then get off. That way I literally teleport onto the shore, so theres no chance of teleporting into deep water.

But, uhh, I'm not in a kingdom. Therefore the whole enemies problem does not apply here.
