I drew this in class today, whatcha think?

obviouslty it's just coal on newsprint...

I think it turned out pretty well, considering it was my first try at shading.

this is just part of the drawing... the whole box on the left was int he full drawing, as well as a table under it, and another bottle on the right. But I like how this picture of it turned out, so... :P

It is very good!

Wow, nice job with the shading! I could never shade that good, then again I could never draw that good. :p

Nice, but your bottle doesn't look translucent x_x... Nice though!

We had to do those in art class with pastels... I sucked at it though.

if it was, you shouldn;t see as much of a shadow, and all that jazz...

the excersize was to work on drawing the shading, and shadows sorrectly

we work with white boxes, and bottles painted white, on white paper... but the floor is a dark grey, and he turns the normal lights off, and puts on a bright lamp to the right of the things we are drawing

Ahhh, well then you did very good, especially for a first try. From that I would guess it was your first Format try ;)

I find the best drawings are of human anatomy, hands, feet, etc.

I like it, looks like something a real artist could have made.

this one was a little more complicated than the last, and so it was hard to do it all in the same amount of time

also, I should edit the picture to look like it actually does (darker) ...

o.o; Those pictures are really good.. small flaws, but without flaws there can't be any beauty.. Plus, you just learn from those mistakes :D

I'm really kinda proud of myself, since I never used to be able to draw, and these actually look kinda good
