Playerworld ....rules?

i was just pondering on something.
Yes graalonline has rules.
which means each server should follow the rules.
but is a server allowed to add on / alter the rules, and than make you abide by them!?
isn't the graalonline list of rules and conduct good enough for them!?
i was wondering.....why are playerworlds allowed to make their own rules of cunduct when the graalonline ones should be good enough?
a playerworld could add some crazy rules like, if your nickname starts with S you are automaticly banned.
i think that all playerworlds should not be allowed to make up their own rules but must follow the rules of graalonline conduct.
what do you guys think ;O

Playerworlds often add onto it to make it suit their playerworld. As the graalonline code of conduct can't cover all server styles, such as RP.

alright thats a good point.
when i made this thread i was thinking of era....

but still, maybe graalonline should make some rules covering role playing style servers then, the issue still stands, what is stopping playerworlds from making insaine rules!?

Server rules cannot conflict with the Graal Rules, their rules must be fasioned using the Graal rules as a guideline.

It's like the U.S. government: In a conflict, federal law rules over state law, just as GraalOnline rules rule over PW rules

;)

I'm assuming every server could have different rules, aslong as they are are not corupt..

WHIPENIE4 02-01-2004 05:45 PM

a sever cant just make a rule where your banned when your name starts with an S.

but GO cant cover everything, why do you think theres STATE AND FEDERAL LAWS. They can't cover everything either

or you could just be like UN Staff, once you call the co manager a **** sucker he bans you and says you were walking on walls.

WanDaMan 02-01-2004 10:33 PM

Well you should't of called him names, sexual harrassment.. But Ban straight away? :(
I don't approve of him lieing just to get you banned though....

WHIPENIE4 02-01-2004 10:54 PM

this wasnt me. I've only been banned like twice and both times i was unbanned within 3 days. This was my friend whoms house i WAS AT.

This is somewhat how Era works, we use the Graal Online rules as a base.

No! Absolutely not. The last thing needed is something that governs role playing :/ If the manager of a playerworld cannot make rules that are practically parallel to GO's then why should they run a playerworld?

WHIPENIE4 02-02-2004 12:49 AM

i dont like the way Era works, i remember going on there and getting killed by a Police guy and he jailed me for shooting back. NO
