Attributes and Parameters

Ok I was bored today so I figured I would try something new. I redid the walk gani to include Attribute #P2 as light2.png. That shows in the gani and all that on graal, so what I am asking isn't because I didnt do the gscript and the gani to get the attribute to show. Anyways...

So now I walk on my server and the little light2.png is behind me. How do I make that glow like a light effect. I know the obvious is editing the gani in NOTEPAD and adding ganiscript, but thats dumb I think. How can I do this from gscript itself, like in a weapon. Is it even possible? If not perhaps we need
getattribute(#P2) or something like that. Since the image can already be set, why not actually make it an editable npc like that.

Now for part2. I understand attributes and how they work and that theres 1-30 and then the head and body stuff. But what about parameters? What do they do, how can I set them, do they work like attributes?

Ok. That solved only like .5 of my 2 problems. I simply am refreshed on how to set a parameter, but how do they work still. Like setani walk,5; Yeah I can do that but what does a parameter do in the gani editor itself.

I also said I could easily do ganiscript to make it glow, but I want to make it glow from gscript and not the gani itself. Perhaps I could use parameters to set the rgb of the light? Idea but I don't know how that is done.

setani item,door.png;

then in graalshop

Goto the button to create a new object, and on the left make the menu drop where you give the image name and set it to PARAM1

Now, when the gani is displayed it will show the door image.

Ok I get it now. Attribute and parameter do the same thing, in different cases. Attribute is for player or npcs with showcharacter; and parameter is for all npcs using a gani. Ok thats clear. Any news though on my gani script from gscript?
