Specific Containers Within Houses

Apart from the mailbox and what I assume will be a chest, I think it would be nice to have a wide range of specified containers. It would add meaning to the furniture and be better organized.
Examples:

Root Celler (sp?): Can hold any edible items.

Coal Storage: Can hold coal (obviously used to light the fireplace in any house, it's easier than storing it in the open or carrying it).

Tool Rack: Can hold tools but no weapons or armour.

Clothes Rack/Possibly a Dresser: Can hold hats or clothes (if clothes turn out to be npcs).

Jewelry Box: Can hold any jewels, as well as rings, and amulets. (Things of value, easier to keep track of your precious cash worthy items).

Desk: Can hold letters.

Bookshelf: Can hold books, scrolls, tomes, etc.

Pets don't go into your inventory, they aren't inventory items. that's what I was basically talking about.
