Ironman & Weekly spar tournament.
 

What happened to the Ironman tournament, i never see it hosted anymore? I have been the weekly spar tournament winner for almost 8 months now. My statue has never changed. Why are these not hosted anymore?

New ETA.

Same inactive Administrators.

It's funny because every time there is a new ETA or somebody in charge, they say that the'll continue the Ironman or weekly/montly events/tournaments that happen, then they do it once or twice and disappear.

i think it was too much of a hassle. they did the spar tourney every sunday right after gang events. the eta would spend 3-4 hours hosting gang events and then spend another hour or more doing the spar tourney right after. they then changed the spar tourney to a different day, so it wouldn't happen on the same day as gang events. but yeah, like mentioned earlier, it depends on the eta.

iron man is done once a month though right? so that really isn't a hassle unless you are too busy with life all the time. i heard that event takes a long ass time to host though.

Ironman was only 10 events with a LMS at the end to determine the winner. Only ever took me an hour at most when i hosted them.

why does an ETA need to host iron man? have a veteran ET do it. it's not rocket science. nothing about an ETA qualifies them over a standard ET. imo the whole ETA position is stupid anyway.

Yeah, in my opinion they should completely scrap/combine ETs and PRs, have no ETA or PRA and have one "PSA" (Player Services Admin) In my opinion that would do the server a lot more good than harm.

When I was PRA, I was hosting just as much as an ET for the hell of it and the fact that I could add myself to the ET Team and host when no one else was. I feel like half my time as a PR I was doing nothing but checking every log I could think of to find dupers, old staff having spawned weapons and running around waiting for people to ask for my help. I think I had 1,000 hours on PR tag within the first 3 months (Keep in mind I was completely addicted to Era and excelling in the PR team to prove that anyone could be disregarded of a bad history and make a difference/contribution on the Staff Team)

Just an idea I heard thrown around while I was a PR that I'm resurfacing, I can't remember the argument against it though so right now I can't think of any disadvantages of making ETs and PRs the same job (Completely firing ETs and making it so PRs must host)

Keep in mind with the help of two other PRs who I basically took under my wing we were able to take over 30 million of spawned, duped and illegal cash from the economy (Although I do believe one of them ended up resetting someone for no reason by accident from reading logs wrong) but we were also able to host events almost every 10 minutes.
