Generally you'll want to save any files that use more then 8-bit coloring as a .png

Well were going to a .png we cant use a 8bit cause that's to small and changes the coloring of our tiles so i basically wanted .gif so we could use it for the server and for graal editor no problems but anywase thanks for what help i got.

any png tileset will work in the offlien editor as long as it is indexed via photoshop or such.

I use ms paint for everything but setting frames and transparency.

Saving GIFs with Paint is generally a bad idea. GIF does support up to 256 unique colors, but Paint (and many other programs) will butcher your colors when saving as GIF.
