Graal Kingdoms Christmas 2012
 

We want to thank each and every one of you for the time and commitment that you've given us over the years. All of you are what makes this community something worth working for and being a part of. We want to thank you all for being a part of this community, Merry Christmas from all of the staff.

Christmas festivities:

• Christmas Gift Shop will open on Event Island at ~22:00PM server time.
  Each Gold Subscription player may get 2 free gifts from the Christmas Gift Shop.
• The Christmas dungeon will be available by as soon as possible and everyone can enjoy and level.
  Also you can collect Christmas Tokens. The Christmas Shop will not be open, however, we will be tracking who gets the most tokens and there will be a prize for the players that get 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
• Santa is back!!!
  Players can follow Santa around Main and see what kind of amazing stuff he is giving out… but you better have been nice this year!
• Christmas Raffle Events!
  We are going to be holding multiple Christmas Raffles at prime time so make sure you’re online!!

Thank you again everyone for making Graal Kingdoms a game worth always coming back to and being a part of a community that has grown close for over a decade now.

you must have worked really hard on this one, nonetheless i'm glad something was done.

extremely disappointing stats on all the gift shop items; when you create all these new items for Christmas you don't have to make them worse than everything because they're free, you can make them low tier and still original or used for a possible build. remember the first hp belt? easter belt. first low-tier dex boots? rabbit feet, they'll hold their value at a low level because new players will need them.

What the stats on the new stuff? idk if i want to install graal or not

The stats are fine this way and totally OK. People are spoiled since the last few holiday events.

these are all the new items released in the gift shop, and nico had an 10 item raffle for christmas day consisting of all of the gift shop items and a warhammer of crushing.

simple, innovative, and wearable updates to the bolded items:

Edit: Messiah Sandals (ac+2) (resist electricity +15) (resist fire +15) (resist cold +15) (resist magic+10)

this would make these sandals wearable to anyone seeking to stack resistances. simple enough, still not overpowered, and they are WEARABLE. unlike how they were before.

this would make this an absolutely wearable mage shield- yet, as I said before, it would still not be overpowered to put into a gift shop. We're wasting images of shields by giving them int+1 and assuming someone is going to waste their items. What gives you the idea we can afford this?

Last but not least, I was extremely disappointed by this necklace. Necklaces are so scarce that they could be made into anything and become an entirely new archetype of gear-sets. I'm really starting to believe whoever is creating the stats for these items has no concept of builds or economical value of items. The stats I created for this item are a simple mockup blending a speed ammy and a demon stone into one, a low value common

Why do you guys use server time instead of human time? x_x

Your wrong, server time is 1 time that can be seen by everyone on gk, and what you are suggesting is only on 1 timezone and would make people confused, and they would have to check what time diffrence there is reguarding to were they live.

That isn't the case at all. On Era, the server time is just EST (since it's the most common timezone for Era's players). GK could easily do the same thing with whatever timezone it wants. Easy for everyone, even those who apparently have trouble telling time, to use :).
