I have managed to construct a fix for this editor issue. The link contains a download file to the zip file containing instructions and the editor with necessary files like the bass.dll etc! Sorry I took so long. Just download the .ZIP, extract the file and have fun :D WanDaMan seems so happy lol

Yeah, works for me :D!!

Mines FINALLY fixed!

Emera, i love you. no homo though.

Edit:
wait, theres no NPCs :(

Isn't it against the rules to post links to downloads and external websites? However, yes that should have been an obvious fix, should have asked if you had those files I guess rather then recommend a better, up-to-date editor.

You mean like the door, baddies etc? There were other files with the editor, for scripts, sandpath editor, predefined tiles and etc.

No, like if i want to put a custom NPC, like block.png, the outlined 'guy' image isnt there, nor the baddies.

That's opps.png (attached) just put it in your images folder and re-open the editor.

Darn that was an easy answer too.. Man I need to pay more attention to the forums. Everything else seems to be working fine now?

Can't you just reinstall the editor or did I miss something?

Well, if i re-install it, the error still just pops up.
So currently, Emera's 'kind-of-fixed' version is my only one.

Updated the zip file, no more download links. Also added all of the necessary files. My theory is that an update caused the editor to experience the issues we are having.

What issues? x-x

Issues...hmm...let me think...
The bloody editor is broken?
I don't know why, you update it, not me.

Upon opening the editor, you get a message like the one attached to my post. Then, after you close the alert box, the editor closes. These issues have been mentioned in several other threads, but never mind...

Don't see you posting a fix for it.
